BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — Authorities have apprehended a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Nasir Majied, which took place at Towson Circle on June 5, 2026.
Baltimore County Police confirmed that the suspect is now in custody, concluding an active search related to the investigation. The police have stated that further details will be disclosed following the suspect's upcoming appearance before a court commissioner.
On the day of the incident, Majied was shot multiple times while operating his vehicle. Reports indicate that the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Reginald T. Gray Jr., was driving when the shooting occurred.
Prior to the arrest, police had issued a warrant for Gray, who was last seen in a silver 2007 Nissan Altima with tinted windows and Virginia license plate SXM-4392. While the official motive behind the shooting remains unverified, authorities have suggested that road rage could potentially be a factor.
It is still unclear whether Majied and Gray had any prior relationship before the tragic event.
