Concertgoer Falls to Death at Madison Square Garden During Performance

A man in his fifties lost his life after falling from an upper level at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

According to the New York City Police Department, officers received a 911 call around 9:51 p.m. reporting an unconscious individual. Upon arrival, they found the man unresponsive, with injuries consistent with a fall from a height.

While police did not disclose the exact distance of the fall, they indicated that the incident occurred in Section 300 of the venue. The identity of the man has not been released, but it was noted that he was attending the concert with his wife.

The man was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The band performing at the time of the incident was Goose, who expressed their sorrow in a statement on Facebook, stating they were “deeply saddened and heartbroken” by the tragic event.
