EDGEWOOD, Md. — An early morning fire at the Williams Mobile Home Park has resulted in the displacement of a family consisting of two adults and a child.

The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Friday, prompting a swift response from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, and a smoke alarm in the home activated, alerting the occupants to the danger.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The Office of the State Fire Marshal has indicated that a malfunction of the bathroom exhaust fan is among the potential causes being examined.
