Baltimore experienced a troubling night as four individuals were injured in three distinct shootings, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
The incidents unfolded over a span of approximately four hours, affecting victims in the city's southwest and western districts.
Details of the Incidents
The first shooting occurred on July 9 at around 10:40 p.m. in the 3300 block of West Caton Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 17-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds. Shortly thereafter, a 15-year-old boy was found in the 300 block of Mount Holly Street, also with a gunshot injury. Both teenagers were taken to local hospitals and are expected to survive.
The second incident took place on July 10 at approximately 12:51 a.m. in the 1200 block of Oakhurst Place, where a 20-year-old woman was shot. She was transported to a nearby hospital and is also expected to recover.
Finally, at around 2:18 a.m. on July 10, police responded to a shooting in the 2100 block of Vine Street. Officers found a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound, who was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
