BALTIMORE — Bryan Johnson has entered a guilty plea regarding his involvement in a mass shooting that tragically took the life of a teenager and left four others wounded earlier this year.
The incident occurred in front of a Popeyes restaurant located in the Edmondson Village Shopping Center. Johnson pleaded guilty to charges including first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and a firearms-related offense in connection with the death of 16-year-old Deanta Dorsey, a student at Edmondson-Westside High School.
In a related legal matter, Daaon Spears, another individual charged in connection with the shooting, was acquitted earlier this year.
Johnson's sentencing is set for October 15, where he will face the consequences of his actions in this tragic case.
