Johns Hopkins University and its affiliates have made a significant impact this holiday season by assisting more than 700 children, families, and seniors in Baltimore through their annual holiday gift drive. The initiative culminated in a festive distribution event held at Johns Hopkins at Eastern on December 17.
This year, the drive was made possible through the collaboration of the Johns Hopkins community and the Government, Community, and Economic Partnerships team, which partnered with over 20 local organizations to deliver holiday gifts to residents in need.
Redonda Miller, president of Johns Hopkins Hospital, expressed gratitude for the collaboration with community organizations, stating, “We are grateful to work alongside the many impactful community organizations in Baltimore—both during the holiday season and throughout the year—to support our neighbors.”
Miller highlighted the generosity of the Johns Hopkins teams, emphasizing their role in brightening the holidays for families throughout the city.
