Man Charged with First-Degree Murder in Girlfriend's Death in Gaithersburg

A 39-year-old man from Gaithersburg has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of his girlfriend, according to Montgomery County Police.

Sean Robinson was taken into custody on Thursday and is accused of killing 37-year-old Ashlei Jones. Her body was discovered on Sunday in the apartment they shared, located in the 8500 block of Snouffer School Road.

An autopsy revealed that Jones died from multiple sharp-force injuries, prompting the murder charge against Robinson.

Following his arrest, Robinson was processed at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit and is currently being held without bond. He appeared in court on Friday, although it remains unclear whether he has secured legal representation.
