A 27-year-old man was apprehended on Wednesday night following a police pursuit that resulted in multiple vehicle collisions and injuries to three officers.

The incident unfolded around 7:17 p.m. when officers from the Regional Auto Theft Taskforce (RATT) and the Western District identified a vehicle linked to a recent carjacking.

As law enforcement approached the vehicle, the driver accelerated away at a high speed, prompting a chase that involved Baltimore City's police helicopter, Foxtrot, for aerial support.

During the pursuit, the suspect collided with several vehicles, including two police units. The chase ultimately ended when the suspect's vehicle became immobilized after crashing into a building located in the 1600 block of Booker Court, situated in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood.

After the crash, the suspect attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended by responding officers. He sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Additionally, one civilian was taken to the hospital for unspecified injuries, while three officers involved in the incident also received medical attention for minor injuries.

The Baltimore Police Department's Traffic Investigation Unit is currently conducting an investigation into the crashes that occurred during this incident.
