Montgomery County Fire and Rescue is conducting a search operation for a 16-year-old boy who went missing in the Potomac River at Great Falls Park.
The emergency response team received a report around 6:15 a.m. on Thursday, indicating that the teenager had entered the river with a group and did not resurface.
This incident occurs less than three weeks after the drowning of 20-year-old Nazir Bell, a Towson University student, who also went missing while swimming in the same area. His body was recovered three days later.
