At 413 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Groveton, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Arlington, Alexandria, Springfield, Fort Washington, Fort Hunt,
Groveton, Huntington, Coral Hills, Fort Belvoir, National Harbor,
Nationals Park, Howard University, Gallaudet University, Reagan
National Airport, Rosslyn, Crystal City, RFK Stadium, Lincolnia,
Franconia, and Oxon Hill.
This includes Interstate 95 in Maryland between mile markers 1 and 5.
