BALTIMORE — A man from Montgomery County was arrested on charges of kidnapping following a traffic stop that occurred on Monday morning in Linthicum.

The incident began when a Maryland Transportation Authority Police officer pulled over a black Chevrolet Malibu for making an illegal turn at the intersection of W. Nursery Road and Elm Road.

During the stop, a female passenger exited the vehicle and informed the officers that she had been handcuffed and kidnapped by the driver, identified as 24-year-old Bryan Neal Gordon.

Authorities promptly arrested Gordon and transported him to the Jennifer Road Detention Center. He now faces multiple charges, including false imprisonment, kidnapping, assault, and various traffic violations.
