A 10-story office building located on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie was evacuated on Thursday afternoon due to concerns regarding its structural integrity.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department reported that issues were found in the building's underground parking area, prompting the evacuation. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries, and officials confirmed that there has been no collapse of the structure.

Empire Towers, which was constructed in 1975, houses several businesses, including an American Red Cross Blood Donation Center and a law firm. The property was last sold in 2013 for $2.875 million to Sawhney Commercial LLC, which is registered at the same address as the building.

Details regarding the number of individuals evacuated from the premises have not yet been disclosed.
